Scope
204 Landing Points, 8,333 km Coastline
Project Context
Turkey manages approximately 300,000 fishermen across 8,333 kilometers of coastline spanning 4 sea basins (Black Sea, Aegean, Mediterranean, Marmara). KXP, under EU-funded project EuropeAid/140278/IH/SER/TR, developed 3 integrated systems for the Directorate General of Fisheries & Aquaculture.
The project transformed the fisheries sector's paper-based, fragmented, and delayed data collection into a real-time, centralized system compliant with EU Common Fisheries Policy (CFP) and EUMOFA data standards.
